past_events_dicksonTelevision star, author, and acclaimed entrepreneur Arlene Dickinson was the keynote speaker at our third annual Gratitude Gala. Featured on CBC’s awarding-winning series Dragon’s Den, Dickinson is a South African refugee who came to Canada when she was three years old. She has become one of Canada’s most successful and prominent business figures as the CEO and owner of Venture Communications, an independent marketing communications firm. Dickinson was recognized by Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100 Hall of Fame and PROFIT and Chatelaine Magazine’s TOP 100 Business Owners. She was also awarded the Pinnacle Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence, Ad Rodeo’s Lifetime Achievement Award, McGill University’s Management Achievement Award and was even recognized as a Global Television’s Woman of Vision.
